I was hoping for something that came down more on my shoulders. This goes across my shoulders but does not come down the arm part of the shoulder enough to supply the heat for my bursitis.

This heating pad is fantastic, heats thoroughly especially around the neck and back. I love it and just wish I had gotten it years ago. The pad is soft and fits well, and such a nice blue color on the outside. It is so relaxing when using it, the heating can be adjusted from slightly warm to really hot. I had to lower the temp to 4 to 5 on the temp control. Pad is made well, should last a long time. Really recommend this pad.
I had cervical spine surgery with a one level fusion due to loss of feeling in several of my fingers. Extreme headaches, and extreme upper back pain. Went to physical therapy and had pain injections that did not work well enough. Post surgery pain lasted three months. My surgeon approved heat as a source of pain relief along with ice. This was the best post surgical investment I made. I would take off my cervical brace and put this heating pad on and get some relief to my neck, shoulder, and upper back areas.
